Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

This was a social and cultural day out to Bristol to watch hot air balloons. The festival was indeed impressive with an aerobatics display consisting of parachutists landing in the main display area and remote controlled model aircraft. There was also a display by a Vintage bi-plane which had us all gasping at the complexity of his maneuvers. The highlight of the evening was indeed the balloons. Summer holidays & shashklyk

On 15th of July we were celebrating the completion of our English classes. Our students, their families and friends gathered together to celebrate the start of summer holiday. Students were awarded Diplomas and then everyone proceeded to enjoy food, fruits and drinks. Everyone had a lovely day, staying outside enjoying the sun, games and food. Emconet at Bearwood Street Festival 2017

On 11th of June 2017 Emconet took part at the Bearwood Street Festival. There were two main stages at the festival: main stage with professional performers and second one for those performers who are just starting their careers, that included Emconet group of talents too. Book presentation of EMСONET founder in the Thimblemill library

The Russian Club meeting in May was held together with EMCONET.  There was a presentation of the Russian-speaking book “Give me a tablet for death, nurse”. The author, Aldona Grupas, talked about her experience of working in a local nursing home and how she wrote the book about it. After the presentation, there was an opportunity to purchase the book with an autograph.

Eastern European Culture Celebrations at Bearwood Street Festival

On Sunday 11th June 2017 from 11.30am to 5.30pm the High Street will host Bearwood’s first ever community-led music and arts festival right in the centre of the neighbourhood. Emconet is taking part in it too and we are going to celebrate our cultural diversity a variety of national games and activities.
