Our events 2015

We are proud that our activities join together people from different countries, languages and nationalities. Our main goal is to help East-Europeans regain their confidence, learn about their rights and responsibilities, to live, work and enjoy life in the community without the fear of misunderstanding or being excluded because of language barrier. Eastern European Garden party

Summer is a best time for barbecue. On last July’ Saturday we gathered together on Eastern European Garden Party. Our friends from Poland, Latvia, Greece, Russia, England and Iran shared their food, ethnic traditions and enjoyed lovely weather in the nice British garden of one of our client. Our events 2014

In 2014 we organised the following major events: Faith and community festival 14 June 2014 at St George’s park the Lozells Project greeted community groups at St Georges park to celebrate Faith and Cultural Festival. More than 70 community groups presented their services and activities to local communities. More than 200 visitors attended the festival and many people were from Eastern Europe, including Moldova, Slovakia, Georgia, Hungary, Romania, Russia and Ukraine. Read more about the festival. Meet a migrant 2014

On Wednesday 29th October 2014 the Migrant Voice charity organised a “meet a migrant” event held in the Dickens Room at the Birmingham Midland Institute in central Birmingham. The aim of the event was to invite members of the British public to “meet a migrant.” There were representatives of many migrants and refugee community organisations including Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Jamaica, South Africa, Syria, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Somalia, Uganda, Ivory Coast and Israel. Faith and communities festival Birmingham 2014

Today St Georges’ park in Lozells is sparkling under sun.
